Irish Night at St. Brigid's in Westbury kicks off our annual fundraising season. The evening begins with a Mass for World Peace. Attendees enjoy great music, dancing, a traditional Irish dinner, and raffles in the company of family and friends.

Dominican Spring Event

Our Dominican Spring Event is a seasonal event may be different each year. This year, we are hosting a theatre event called “A Star Struck Afternoon” at the John W. Engeman Theatre in Northport. Immediately following a pre-performance cocktail reception, the cast will be performing 42nd Street.

Beauty of the Spirit Luncheon

The Dominican Sisters of Amityville's Beauty of the Spirit Luncheon is held at our Motherhouse. This popular event celebrates the Beauty of the Spirit of women—their strength, compassion, and wisdom. A keynote speaker, raffles, and basket auction are always part of the festivities. Proceeds generated by this benefit are used for our retired and infirm Sisters—the beautiful and dedicated women whose spirit has brought us to this place in time!

Dominican Gala

Proceeds from the Dominican Gala, along with other donations specifically designated for Ministry, give us the resources to continue the support of our Sisters in Ministry. Held every year at the Garden City Hotel, participants enjoy a fun night of fine dining and dancing. Each year, two worthy people receive the Sisters' Veritas and St. Catherine of Siena Awards.
